    It’s easy to forget to give kids their medicine

    It doesn’t matter if you give your child a medicine every day or only for a short number of days, everyone forgets to give medicine sometimes.

    Tips to help you remember to give medicines

    Set a phone reminder

    Set an alarm on your phone for the time a medicine should be given. If your phone allows, name the alarm the name of the medicine.

     

    This method doesn’t work if you push snooze too many times or turn off the alarm.

    Print out a medicine schedule and hang it in a place you’ll look at everyday

    There are many ways to create a medicine schedule. You can see example schedules in the post keep track of when a medicine has been given.

    Keep medicines in a place where you’ll see them

    Be careful where you store medicines. Medicines should be stored up and away from the reach of kids. If medicines are not stored safely, kids may accidentally ingest them.
